Returning to human illustrations, I wanted to capture a mostly gestural, line-heavy style. Curiously, it ended up taking on a sort of sci-fi appearance. I also wanted to continue the seeming trend of having a large dark shape in the background for contrast, but this time, introduce white instead of the default grey. An interesting result!
