A thunderous roar tears a hole in the sky. There is no end to its depths. A great madness ensues as the primordial eye gazes down below. All are subject to its terror and no will be spared from its judgement.
Here, we signal towards cosmology – something we’ve, surprisingly, done very little with. The mushroom structures were inspired by, well, mushrooms – but then I thought “perhaps they may be trumpets?” Very curious. Anyway, after completing this one, I feel I’m going to return to less time-consuming illustrations. It’s clear that I’m comfortable with the medium – I just need to spare myself from my obsessive grandiosity!
